Huawei has addressed the criticism of the first MateBook: The already successful Windows tablet now comes with an equally successful keyboard cover. In general, however, the device would benefit from more equipment options, and not just because of the colour scheme: 4 GB of RAM is not enough for a 1200-euro device.

After less than a year, Huawei is launching the MateBook E, the successor to its first 2-in-1 device. The biggest innovation is the new Intel Core i5 processor, which is significantly faster than before. However, with only 6:27 hours of video playback, the device also runs out of battery one hour earlier. Important connections can only be used via the USB Type-C dock supplied.
