Der Vorgänger des Akku-Testsiegers zählt noch nicht zum alten Eisen. Das Huawei Mate 8 bietet für weniger Geld ähnlich gute Technik und immerhin ein 6-Zoll-Display. Der XXL-Bildschirm hat wie beim Mate 9 "nur" die klassische Full-HD-Auflösung von 1920 x 1080 Pixeln, aber gerade die moderate Pixelzahl ist die wesentliche Grundlage für die ausdauernde Akku-Laufzeit.
Das Huawei Mate 8 hat ein edles Aluminiumgehäuse und ein 6-Zoll-Display (15,24 cm) mit Full-HD-Auflösung. Ein schneller Prozessor, ein präziser Fingerabdrucksensor und eine gute Kamera komplettieren die technische Ausstattung. Huawei stattet das Mate 8 mit einem 4000 mAh starken Akku aus, der zusammen mit dem sparsamen Prozessor für eine Laufzeit von herausragenden 10:37 Stunden sorgt.

Eine Kampfansage an Apple und Samsung - die macht das Mate 8. Das schlanke Metallkleid ist hochwertig gearbeitet, das große 6-Zoll-Display und der ausdauernde Akku verdienen Lob. Allerdings ist bei Kamera und Display-Schärfe noch etwas Luft nach oben.
