Fujifilm X-Pro3
26.10 Mpx, APS-C / DXCurrently out of stock
Product details
Equipped with a rear-exposed 26.1 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and an X processor 4. This combination, in conjunction with a new firmware, ensures automatic phase detection focus up to a brightness
value of -6 EV, which is close to complete darkness.
The new "hybrid viewfinder" features a bright, high-resolution OLED display with 3.69 million pixels and improved colour rendering to make working with the electronic viewfinder even more pleasant. Also new is the film simulation "CLASSIC Neg", whose colors are reminiscent of analog color negative films.
The FUJIFILM X-Pro3 follows the tradition of the first mirrorless system camera of the X series, the FUJIFILM X-Pro1, introduced in February 2012, and its enhanced successor, the FUJIFILM X-Pro2, presented in March 2016. The X-Pro series is aimed at professional users and ambitious photo enthusiasts who appreciate the low weight of the cameras, the classic rangefinder concept as well as the intuitive operation via control dials - especially in reportage and documentary photography.
The outer camera housing is made of high-strength titanium, which guarantees additional stability and longevity. In the "Black" model variant, the titanium surface is provided with a high-quality paint finish, which gives the camera a timeless, elegant appearance. The "DURA Black" and "DURA Silver" versions have an extra hard Duratect coating (hardness 1,500 HV), which not only makes the housing less sensitive to scratches, but also gives the camera a unique surface finish. The inner housing frame is made of a stable magnesium alloy.
The housing is sealed at 70 points against dust and splash water. The camera is thus fully ready for use even in cold temperatures down to minus 10° C. This means that users can take pictures even in adverse weather conditions without having to worry about their equipment.
The X-Pro series offers a unique rangefinder concept. As an alternative to the optical viewfinder (OVF), which allows the subject to be viewed unchanged without any delay, the electronic viewfinder (EVF) can be used, which allows a preview of the later image result already during shooting.
The "hybrid viewfinder" of the X-Pro3 features a high-resolution OLED display with 3.69 million pixels. With a contrast ratio of 1:5,000 and a brightness of up to 1,500 cd/m², even the finest details can be inspected in highlights and depths. The electronic viewfinder also covers 97 percent of the sRGB color space, achieving extremely precise color reproduction. In high performance mode ("Boost" mode), the "Smooth/Frame Rate" option is now available. If it is activated, a black image is inserted after each individual image, resulting in a particularly fluid image impression that corresponds to a frequency of approx. 200 Hz. This is particularly advantageous when capturing fast-moving objects and when tracking irregular motion sequences.
The X-Pro3 also offers the function of an electronic rangefinder (ERF). This enhances the performance of the optical viewfinder. The viewfinder displays a small EVF window that can be used, for example, to enlarge the focused image area or to control the image.
