Der Epson P50 ist ein einfacher Fotodrucker ohne integrierte Scan-Einheit und ohne Speicherkartenleser, bietet aber die wesentlichen Druckfunktionen. Sogar auf einen PictBridge-Anschluss hat Epson verzichtet, sodass Ausdrucke nur über den Computer möglich sind. Außerdem bietet der P50 nur einen einfachen Papierschacht, beidseitiges Drucken oder Ähnliches ist ebenfalls nicht vorgesehen. ….
Ein Foto-Drucker, der sich auch mit Textausdrucken abgibt- so präsentiert sich der Epson "Stylus Photo P50". Mit jeweils 5 Schwarz-Weiß- und Farbseiten pro Minute ist der Epson allerdings sehr langsam.
