The Epson ink multifunction device with integrated, refillable ink tanks is currently hard to beat even by laser printers in terms of page prices. At around 0.2 cents, a page of text is sensationally cheap thanks to the 2-pack of ink refill bottles already supplied and the inexpensive re-purchase ink...

The compact Ecotank also fits on smaller desks. It has a 250-sheet tray as the only feeder, and the tanks are built in on the right-hand side with windows for checking the ink level. The non-duplex document feeder holds a maximum of 30 sheets; the scanner door has 1 cm of play in the hinges...
The All-in-One is expensive to buy and has some equipment shortcomings compared to the test winner. For frequent printers, however, the price per page is unbeatable and certainly not insignificant in an office over the long term.
