Wenn es in diesem Test nur um die Druckqualität gegangen wäre, wäre der Brother MFC-J825DW mit auf das Siegertreppchen gesprungen. Zudem zeichnet er sich durch seine Ausstattung mit integrierter Duplexeinheit aus, wobei die dreijährige Garantiezeit ebenso positiv zu bewerten ist. Das größte Manko des Allround-Geräts sind in jedem Fall seine deutlich zu hohen Druckkosten.

Beim Textdruck lieferte der J825DW gute Ergebnisse, auch Fotos - sonst nicht die Domäne von Brother - konnte sich sehen lassen. Auf Normalpapier und Folien fielen Streifen auf, die besonders beim Direktdruck von der PicBridege-Kamera auftreten…

Gerade fürs Büroumfeld sind die Seitenpreise des Multifunktionsgeräts eindeutig zu hoch.
