Dieser Kopfhörer der Traditionsmarke ist im Prinzip eine Erweiterung des bestehenden MSR7 um die aktive Noise-Cancelling-Funktion (ANC). Letztere wird immer öfter wichtig, um Umgebungsgeräusche zu minimieren, etwa auf Reisen, oder auch zu Hause. Das ANC funktioniert beim MSR7NC ansprechend, wenn auch nicht ganz so undurchlässig wie etwa bei Sonys MDR 100X und Boses QC35...

Während der ATH-MSR7 schon länger im Produktportfolio von Audio-Technica zu finden ist, gesellte sich erst im Mai dieses Jahres eine Version mit aktiver Geräuschunterdrückung dazu. Rein äußerlich bleibt alles beim Gleichen: Das weiterhin kabelgebundene Over-Ear-Modell kommt mit schicken Ohrschalen aus stabilem Kunststoff daher, die durch einzelne metallische Elemente einen edlen Anstrich verpasst bekommen...
