Product details

The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X from the Raphael processor family has 8 CPU cores based on the "Zen 4" architecture. After "Zen", "Zen+", "Zen 2" and "Zen 3", this is the fifth generation of the Zen microarchitecture.
Each processor core has access to the entire L3 cache. This contributes especially to the significantly increased performance in games. Paired with an AMD X670(E) or B650(E) chipset, the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X supports the PCI Express 5.0 standard, which is twice as fast as PCIe 4.0. All Ryzen 7000 processors use the AM5 platform and are designed for use with corresponding AMD chipsets.

What counts in the end: Who offers the best package? And a super-fast processor alone is not enough. The test winner was Intel's Core i7-14700K. The 20-core processor was extremely fast, its graphics chip offered a decent speed and it left nothing to be desired in terms of energy consumption...
