"Red Dead's History: The raspy voice of Arthur Morgan tells America's story

Arthur Morgan is back and will be your new teacher of American history. If you've played "Red Dead Redemption 2", the protagonist voiced by Roger Clark probably thrilled you as much as it did me. His smoky, deep voice gave him something special. This same Roger Clark has also lent his voice to the book "Red Dead's History: A Video Game, an Obsession, and America's Violent Past", which will be published on 6 August, and will read it to you as Arthur Morgan.

What is it about?

In this audiobook, author Tore Olsson takes you back to the period between 1865 and 1920, the era in which the two "Red Dead Redemption" games are set. He not only sheds light on the story that Rockstar Games masterfully tells in the two games, but also paints a comprehensive picture of this era full of upheaval, lawlessness and violence.

But "Red Dead's History" is more than just a history book. Olsson interweaves historical facts with the fictional narrative of the Van der Linde gang and shows how Rockstar Games has succeeded in creating a captivating and authentic world.
